Jaisalmer isn't far from the Pakistan border, and is home to the ultimate in camel safaris. After buying some proper "traveller" clothes in the heart of the old fort, we set off for a couple of days into the desert on the backs of our camels, Lucky and Johnny.

Our companions were Ayelet and Steve a fantastic Irish couple, young Ali who cooked excellent chapatis and dhal, not to mention the little goat that made for an excellent curry...
