Around India In 80 Trains

On the 15th January a total solar eclipse was visible across most of south India and Kanyakumari was the best place to see it - the southernmost tip of India where three oceans meet. As we tried helplessly to blend into the crowd, we failed miserably and ended up encountering plenty of inquisitive faces, some of which you can see below, and of course the eclipse itself, which turned out to be one of the sharpest, fullest eclipses this century.
